Job summary

VMCH is seeking Disability Support Workers to provide high-quality care to clients in community programs and direct care services in Victoria. You will support activities of daily living while honoring individual choices and preferences within a community setting.

Responsibilities include facilitating community access, assisting with domestic duties, and helping to develop and review client-centered support plans. A collaborative team and commitment to person-centred care are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate or equivalent in Disability support.
• Experience in disability sector and person-centred care.
• Current first aid and required checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of care for daily living activities.
• Support engagement in community access and group activities.
• Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning, shopping and cooking.
• Develop, review and update client-centred support plans.
