Job summary

Support Your Way in Adelaide is looking for motivated support workers to join our disability support team in the South Australia Metro - South area. You will assist with daily living tasks, personal care, and community participation within participants' homes and in the community.

Preference given to candidates with 3+ years experience in transferring, English proficiency, and familiarity with cerebral palsy or Duchenne muscular dystrophy, plus required registrations and police checks.

Qualifications

• Clear English and excellent communication skills.
• Reliable and compassionate with experience or willingness to learn disability support.
• Experience or understanding of neurodivergent individuals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care and assistance with daily living tasks.
• Assist with transfers and mobility, including use of aids when required.
• Support participants with community engagement and transport where needed.
