Job summary

Endeavour Foundation in Gladstone is hiring a permanent part-time Disability Support Worker to assist across our Lifestyle & Learning services and SIL homes. You may work across days, afternoons, evenings and sleepovers with rosters designed around the people we support, offering variety and flexibility.

We are looking for a confident, compassionate, reliable and person-centred caregiver with experience in disability, aged care or related fields.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across shift patterns including sleepovers.
• Demonstrated person-centred approach to support.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support people to achieve NDIs goals and daily living skills.
• Provide personal care and support per individual needs.
• Assist with meal planning, cooking and light household tasks.
• Facilitate community access, social activities and appointments.
• Support development of independence, confidence and community connections.
• Follow individual support plans and provide person-centred support.
• Build positive relationships with participants, families and stakeholders.
