Job summary

Endeavour Foundation in Rockhampton is seeking a casual Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred care to clients with complex support needs across our services. 30 hours per fortnight are available, with shifts including weekdays, evenings and weekends. Sleepover and overnight shifts may be required.

PBSPs and individual support plans guide your day-to-day work. You'll build independence and community participation, supporting daily living tasks, personal care and documentation, while

Qualifications

• Experience in disability support and complex needs.
• Proven ability to follow PBSPs and support plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to people with complex disability needs.
• Follow individual support plans and PBSPs.
• Respond calmly to behaviours of concern using agreed strategies.
• Support independence and daily living skills for clients.
• Assist with personal care and medication support where required.
• Support participation in community, recreational and social activities.
• Document progress notes and incident reports accurately.
