Job summary

Endeavour Foundation in Palmwoods, Queensland, is seeking Disability Support Workers for part-time roles across SIL homes. You will support independence, including personal care, daily living tasks, and community activities, with shifts that may include multiple sleepovers and varied times.

Ideal candidates are calm, compassionate, and professional, with a valid driver’s license and checks (WWC, NDIS) and a willingness to work across days, evenings, weekends, and overnights.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
• Shifts may include multiple sleepovers and varied days/evenings/weekends.
• Good computer skills with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Willing to obtain Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid/CPR, and a valid Driver's license with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Help people achieve NDIS goals by building daily living skills.
• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Support meal planning, cooking, light cleaning and social outings.
• Provide support during daily activities and maintain family/service connections.
• Promote community engagement and social participation through outings.
