Job summary

Endeavour Foundation in Ayr, QLD, is seeking a Disability Support Worker to join a permanent roster at a SIL home. The role includes sleepover shifts and some daytime work, with a 50-hour fortnightly contract and minimum four shifts per fortnight.

You’ll support residents to live as independently as possible, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts when available. Ideal candidates are calm, compassionate and professional, with experience supporting individuals with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Calm and compassionate approach to disability support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow plans.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support development of daily living skills like housekeeping and budgeting.
• Help with meal planning, cooking, light cleaning and social outings.
