Job summary

Nextt is seeking female Disability Support Workers to assist two female clients in a shared home in Highfields, supporting daily living and helping achieve personal goals.

Ad hoc night shifts are available (11:00 pm – 9:00 am) with opportunities for additional day shifts as required, in a local Queensland setting. Applicants must hold NDIS Screening Check, WWCC, and a valid Australian driver's license with vehicle insurance.

Qualifications

• Female Disability Support Worker required for two female clients.
• Ad hoc night shifts available with some day shifts.
• Must hold NDIS Screening Check and WWCC.
• Australian driver’s license and vehicle insurance are required.
• First Aid and CPR current.

Responsibilities

• Manual handling and hoist/sling transfers.
• Personal care including showering, grooming and dressing.
• Bladder incontinence support and toileting.
• Postural management and daily living assistance.
• Medication assistance and domestic duties.
• Community access and social engagement for clients.
• Meal preparation and routine support; therapeutic engagement.

Nextt are seeking female Disability Support Workers to support two female clients in a shared home environment in Highfields, assisting them with daily living and helping them achieve their personal goals.

Ad hoc Active Night shifts available (11:00 pm - 9:00 am), with opportunities to pick up additional ad hoc day shifts as required

Client 1

Disabilities: Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability, Epilepsy, Anxiety (non-verbal)

• Manual handling (hoist and sling transfers)
• Personal care (showering, grooming, dressing)
• Bladder incontinence support and toileting
• Postural management
• Medication assistance
• Domestic duties
• Full assistance with daily living

Client 2

Disabilities: Muscle weakness, Myotonia, reduced motor control, severe fatigue, respiratory weakness, Intellectual impairment

• Community access and social engagement
• Personal care (grooming, dressing)
• Domestic support
• Assistance with daily activities (meal preparation, routines, therapeutic engagement)

Pay Rates

SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax)

• Base hourly rate:$36.81
• Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday):$40.49
• Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday):$41.23
• Saturday:$51.54
• Sunday:$66.26
• Public holiday:$80.99

Additional information

• $36.81 per hour (full rates in ad)
