Job summary

Life Without Barriers is seeking a Disability Support Worker in the Metro Adelaide area to positively impact the lives of individuals in the local community. You’ll join the Lifestyles team and provide transportation in your own vehicle, with shifts from 9am–7pm, including short split shifts and weekends.

The role requires a valid Australian driver’s licence with a registered and insured vehicle, and you must hold First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009).

Qualifications

• Proactive and energetic approach to providing support.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to clients in line with their needs and plans.
• Establish meaningful relationships with clients, families and supporters.
• Complete documentation and reporting, including case notes and incidents.
• Commit to short, split shifts and weekend work.
