Job summary

SACARE is seeking Casual Support Workers to provide individualised care in home care settings. You will empower participants to meet their goals, assisting with wellbeing, housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care and social activities.

We offer flexible hours across many shifts, opportunities to move into permanent roles, access to training, health and well-being program, and a supportive team focused on transforming lives.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Check must be current.
• DHS Working With Children Check must be current.
• First Aid Certificate with CPR up to date.
• Manual Handling Certificate current.
• Unrestricted Driver’s Licence.
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or equivalent.
• Continence Aid Training completed face to face within an RTO.
• Medication Training completed face to face within an RTO.

Responsibilities

• Empower participants to achieve their goals and support wellbeing, housekeeping, meal preparation and daily activities.
• Assist with personal care needs and accompany clients on trips to shops or social outings.

Education

Current NDIS Workers Check

Current DHS Working With Children Check

Current First Aid Certificate with up to date CPR

Current Manual Handling Certificate

Unrestricted Driver’s License

Certificate III Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or similar qualification

Basic Continence Aid Training (completed face to face within an RTO)

Assistance with Medication Training (completed face to face within an RTO)
