Job summary

SACARE, a South Australian‑owned provider, is seeking Casual Support Workers to deliver tailored in‑home care and supported accommodation services. You will assist clients with wellbeing, housekeeping, meals, personal care, and community outings in a values‑driven team environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Cert 3 in Individual Support or equivalent, current checks, and a passion for transforming lives through respectful, person‑centred care.

Qualifications

• Current NDIS Worker Check is required.
• Current Working With Children Check is required.
• First Aid Certificate is required.
• Manual Handling Certificate is required.
• Assist with Medication Training is required.
• Basic Continence Aid Training is required.

Responsibilities

• Empower clients to achieve goals and support their individual care needs in wellbeing, housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care and daily activities.
• Assist clients with shopping and social outings as part of daily routines.
• Provide compassionate, person‑centred care and support that respects clients’ choices.

You will empower clients to achieve their goals and support them and their individual care needs in areas such as wellbeing, housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care needs and daily activities such as trips to the shops or social outings.

What do I need?

• Current NDIS Workers Check
• Current Working With Children Check
• Cert 3 in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or applicable fields such as nursing (nursing students encouraged to apply)
