Job summary

H1 Healthcare in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our dedicated team in East Melbourne. You will provide person-centered support, including personal care, meal preparation, and community access, with a focus on dignity and independence for participants.

We offer ongoing, stable hours with minimum 2–8 hour shifts, comprehensive training, and supportive supervision to help you build lasting relationships with participants and their families.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting participants with complex care needs.
• Proficient in personal care, manual handling and medication assistance.
• Demonstrates compassion, reliability and patience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Passionate about providing person-centered care.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
• National Police Check required.
• First Aid & CPR certification required.
• Working With Children Check preferred.
• Full driver's license and reliable vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities
