Job summary

Care1 is seeking enthusiastic and reliable team members to provide high-quality disability and care support to recipients based in Rhodes and surrounds. You’ll assist with activities of daily living, mobility, personal care, meals, and household tasks to help clients maintain independence.

Role requires flexibility for 11am–3pm shifts, 7 days per week, with a focus on compassionate care. Applicants should have a current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain, a valid driver’s license,

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support is desirable
• Right to work in Australia
• Current valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain before employment
• NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)
• Working with Children Check

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort to clients by assisting with activities of daily living as per individual care plans
• Assist with bowel care, PEG feeding and medication administration
• Support personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
• Perform light domestic tasks including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
• Assist clients who use mobility aids and personal equipment
• Monitor clients’ well-being and report progress; transport to appointments and social activities
