Job summary

Scope Aust is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our Bowral SIL service, supporting two male and two female clients with physical disabilities. You will operate hoists and equipment, manage complex needs, and work with clients who may display challenging behaviours and mental health needs.

You will contribute to personal care, community participation, and daily living skills, while adhering to care plans and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to operate hoists and equipment.
• Experience delivering personalised support to adults with physical disabilities.
• Comfortable working with clients who have mental health needs or challenging behaviours.
• Able to follow BIS/Care plans and restrictive practices as directed by clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored support to two male and two female clients with physical disabilities.
• Support clients in activities of daily living and community participation.
• Maintain accurate records and write reports as required.
• Work closely with scope team and clinical staff to ensure safe, person-centred care.
