Job summary

Mindhelp is a registered NDIS provider delivering support in Geelong and Melbourne. We seek flexible Disability Support Workers to help participants achieve greater independence and quality of life.

You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and community access while following individual support plans. Mandatory checks include NDIS screening, WWCC, first aid, and CPR; a current vehicle and car insurance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Disability Support Work or similar qualification.
• NDIS worker’s screening check.
• Current first aid certificate and CPR (annual).
• Working with Children’s Check.
• Own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance.
• Health Science-related degree students encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Support participants with community access and social engagement.
• Assist with implementing individual support plans as directed.
• Contribute to consistency and quality of care across shifts.
• Be available to work across a 24/7 roster including mornings, evenings, overnights and weekends.

Disability Support Worker – Casual Position- Geelong

Mindhelp is a registered NDIS provider delivering support to people with mental illness, complex behaviours and other disabilities across Geelong and Melbourne.

We are seeking flexible and reliable Disability Support Workers who are passionate about supporting people to achieve greater independence, stability and quality of life.

In this role, you will support participants with activities of daily living, personal care, community access and the implementation of individual support plans. Applicants must be available to work across a 24/7 roster, including morning, evening, overnight and weekend shifts.

Mindhelp offers consistent and rewarding work, with participants matched to staff based on experience, skills, preferences and areas of interest. You will be supported by an experienced management and clinical team.

The hourly rate will be determined according to relevant qualifications, experience and applicable award conditions.

Mandatory Requirements:

A Certificate III or IV in Disability Support Work or a similar qualification is desirable. Additionally, students studying a Health Science-related degree are strongly encouraged to apply.
