Job summary

365 Care is looking for an experienced Disability Support Worker to assist a client in Blackheath. You will use your skills to promote independence and engagement, working Monday to Friday for 4 hours each day in the client’s home environment.

You’ll need to be patient, a good listener, and capable of prompt, compassionate care while supporting daily activities, transportation, and community-based outings. Training and support are provided to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWCC required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license and an insured car required.
• Willingness to complete client-specific training before you begin.

Responsibilities

• Take clients into the community for activities they enjoy.
• Provide transport and mobility assistance.
• Help with light cleaning around the home when needed.
• Assist with medication management as required.

About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Disability Support Worker to support one of our clients in Blackheath.

You’ll bring your experience and knowledge in Acquired Brain Injuries, schizophrenia & supporting Monday to Friday.

In this role, you’ll need to be assertive and calm under pressure, while also being encouraging and understanding. A strong listener who is able to prompt and promote independence and engagement, you’ll be a key part of helping them live an independent and fulfilling life.

No two days are the same! Your support might look like:

• Getting out into the community to do activities the clients enjoy
• Providing transport and mobility assistance
• Helping out with a few light cleaning jobs around the home when needed
• Assist with medication management

What You’ll Need

• Willingness to complete all client-specific training before you begin (we’ll guide you through it)
