Job summary

Kirinari Community Services has multiple opportunities in Bathurst for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our dynamic team. You will provide direct support across a range of needs, including domestic and personal care, while helping customers engage with the community.

We offer shifts in a 24/7 environment with generous penalties, flexible start dates, and a supportive leadership team focused on growth, wellbeing, and career progression within a well-recognised service.

Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays with significant availability.
• Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as a team.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships.
• Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.
• Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs.
• Smart Phone
• Current Australian Driver's Licence

Responsibilities

• Support people in their day-to-day living in 24/7 SIL/Group Homes to ensure a safe, nurturing environment.
• Provide domestic and personal care assistance and help customers access and connect with the community.
• Maintain flexible availability including weekends, overnights and public holidays as required.
