DSWs assist people in day-to-day living, providing 24/7 care in SIL/group homes, with personal care, community access and connections to support networks.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work shift work, including sleepovers/night shifts
• Availability for weekends, public holidays and night shifts
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to obtain NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to start
• Comfort with using computers and basic software/applications
• Must have a current Australian Driver's Licence

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support across daily living activities including domestic and personal care
• Assist clients to access community and maintain positive social connections
• Support in 24/7 SIL/group home environments with a nurturing, safe approach
