Job summary

CatholicCare Diocese Of Broken Bay in Waitara, NSW, is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to help people live independently within the community. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, reports, and follow individual support plans.

This casual role offers flexible hours from 9am to 3pm across Monday to Saturday, with opportunities for ongoing training, career growth, and supportive management in a community program environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable people of all ages.
• NDIS workers check completed.
• NSW Orientation Modules completed.
• Unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Current Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Domestic Assistance – Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Personal Care – Support with showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Achieve Goals Together – Implement individual support plans to help clients reach their personal goals.
• Community Connection – Assist with social outings and community participation.
• Stay Informed – Understand each client’s needs and adapt to changes.
• Positive Engagement – Build strong, respectful relationships with clients, families, and your team.
