Job summary

Family First Disability Services is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to assist a 30-year-old female participant in building independence and community inclusion within a Supported Independent Living environment.

You will provide respectful personal care, build trusting relationships, and support access to community services while promoting participation in social and recreational activities. Flexible hours and ongoing training offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting people with complex behaviours.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
• Disability Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card).
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and public holidays.
• Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance (for contractors).
• Relevant qualifications in Disability Support or a related field highly regarded.

About the Role
