Scope is hiring a Disability Support Worker for Bendigo, VIC, in a Fixed Term Part-Time capacity. You will support customers with disabilities, promoting independence and meaningful community living.

Involves a variety of shifts, including sleepovers, with comprehensive pre-employment checks and clearances. You will work in a collaborative team, delivering personalised care at home and in community settings, and you will be oriented with paid training to grow within Scope’s Victoria and

Competenze

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance required.
• Working with Children Check required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Full VIC Driver’s licence required.
• International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas within the last ten years.

Disability Support Worker – Bendigo [Supported Independent Living]

Position Details

• Position: Disability Support Worker
• Employment Type: Fixed Term Part-Time (6 Months)
• Location: Bendigo, VIC
• Hours: Approximately 40 to 60 hours per fortnight

About the Role

• Support a diverse range of customers living with physical disabilities.
• Provide person-centred support that empowers customers to make choices and maintain independence in their daily lives.
• Assist customers with daily living activities both at home and in the community, including personal care, meal preparation and assistance, medication support, and behaviour support.
• Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and sleepover shifts.

You must have or be willing to obtain:

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Working with Children Check
• First Aid and CPR
• Full VIC Driver’s licence
• International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
