Job summary

Bridging Abilities is looking for caring, reliable disability support workers to join our team on a casual basis across Wadalba and Central Coast NSW. You will support participants with their daily routines, build independence and help them take part in activities they enjoy.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal prep, community participation, documentation and respectful communication with participants, families and the team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or related qualification desirable.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Willingness to complete required training and screening.

You will support participants with their daily routines, build their independence and help them take part in activities they enjoy. Responsibilities may include:

• Helping with meal preparation and household tasks.

• Completing accurate shift notes, incident reports and other required documentation.
• Communicating respectfully with participants, families and the team.
• Respecting each participant's choices, privacy and dignity.

About you

We are looking for someone who is patient, dependable and committed to providing quality support. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Relevant disability support experience and a Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or a related qualification are desirable.
