Job summary

Bridging Abilities is looking for caring, reliable disability support workers to join our team on a casual basis across Wadalba and Central Coast NSW. You will support participants with their daily routines, build independence and help them take part in activities they enjoy.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal prep, community participation, documentation and respectful communication with participants, families and the team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or related qualification desirable.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Willingness to complete required training and screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks per individual support needs.
• Help with meal preparation and household tasks.
• Support community participation, appointments and transport.
• Follow individual support plans and behaviour support strategies.
• Complete shift notes, incident reports and required documentation.
• Communicate respectfully with participants, families and the team.
• Respect each participant's choices, privacy and dignity.
