Job summary

Endeavour Foundation in Brisbane seeks a reliable Disability Support Worker to assist residents at Alexandra Hills. Part-time role up to 41 hours per fortnight, with shifts including weekends and 5 sleepovers per week as needed.

You will motivate and support people with diverse needs, both independently and within a team, using technology to record progress and documentation. Certificate III in Disability is advantageous; a current license and checks are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role.
• Current or willingness to obtain: Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid & CPR, National Criminal History Check.

• Provide personal care and physical support according to individual support plans.
• Support residents with community access, appointments and recreational activities.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with colleagues and leaders.
• Record progress and documentation using technology and digital systems.

This opportunity is ideal for a positive, proactive communicator with a can-do attitude who can motivate, engage and support people with diverse needs. Experience is highly regarded, particularly for candidates confident working independently and within a team environment. Flexibility, initiative and strong communication skills are essential.

Part-time opportunities available at the SIL home up to 41 hours per fortnight. Ideally available 5 sleepovers per week + other shifts and including weekends.
