Job summary

Nextt Wynnum is seeking an organised Disability Support Work Team Leader to balance hands-on participant support with leadership and site operations. You will guide Support Workers, maintain effective systems and ensure positive participant outcomes.

You’ll cover day-to-day leadership, coaching, and administration while upholding the NDIS Code of Conduct andNextt’s commitment to safe, respectful, person‑centred care.

Qualifications

• Solid administration background with attention to detail and records management.
• Ability to guide, motivate and support staff while upholding high standards.
• Understanding of person-centred support, NDIS principles and inclusion.
• Clear written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive problem solving and calm, efficient prioritisation when priorities shift.
• Systems thinking to identify improvements and implement processes.
• Accountability for responsibilities and accurate information handling.
• Balance hands-on support with leadership and busy, reactive operations.
• Genuine commitment to participant rights and best interests.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on participant support as required, including manual handling and small domestic tasks.
• Offer leadership, guidance and coaching to Support Workers to ensure quality outcomes.
• Support daily site operations, team coordination and accountability with the Client Experience Manager.
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, reporting and essential site information.
• Follow systems and procedures while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Assist with incident, complaints and day-to-day issue management per procedures.
• Build positive relationships with participants, families, workers and stakeholders.
• Uphold the NDIS Code of Conduct and Nextt's commitment to safe, respectful care.
