Job summary

Hireup in Kangaroo Flat, VIC seeks a proactive Support Team Lead to join our mission of delivering disability and aged care support to Australians. The role focuses on face-to-face client support, rostering and staff development, and collaboration with families and Hireup management.

Ideal candidates have disability sector knowledge, leadership experience, and comfort with flexible remote hours. Applicants with non-verbal clients and complex behaviours are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working with clients living with disability, including non-verbal and autism.
• Leadership roles in rostering, staff recruitment, and training.
• Experience implementing and recognising restrictive practices.
• Experience with behaviours of concern and personal care.
• Ability to communicate with Allied Health professionals and stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating transport for client activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face support work focused on building rapport with the client.
• Handle rostering, recruitment, and staff training.
• Attend meetings with the client, parents, and the Hireup manager.
• Perform admin duties related to client support.
