Job summary

Endeavour Foundation is hiring a Disability Support Worker to assist participants with complex behaviours at our Ipswich venues, delivering structured learning activities, recreation, and daily living supports.

You will work across day, afternoon and night rosters, support PBSPs and PBSP strategies, help participants achieve their NDIS goals, build independence and community connections while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Calm, resilient Disability Support Worker with experience supporting participants with complex needs.
• Experience with participants who may display verbal or physical aggression and PBSP usage.
• Willing to work with behaviour support practitioners, families and allied health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Support participants to achieve NDIS goals through skill development and community participation.
• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities when required.
• Assist with meal preparation, budgeting and household tasks.
• Document supports and follow individual support plans and behaviour support strategies.
