Job summary

Kirinari Community Services seeks experienced Disability Support Workers to provide structured, person-centred support within a 24/7 roster in Queensland. The role emphasizes calm, empathetic care, meticulous documentation, and following detailed support plans.

Ideal candidates will have current driver licence, NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain), First Aid/CPR, and Australian working rights, with availability across a 24/7 schedule. Training and onboarding are provided.

Qualifications

Australian working rights
Availability across a 24/7 roster
Experience supporting complex or changing needs
Ability to follow detailed routines and support plans
Strong observation and incident-reporting skills

Responsibilities

Create a consistent, reassuring environment while remaining flexible to changing support needs.
Maintain established routines and independence for customers.
Support participation in home and community activities.
Record progress and health information accurately and promptly.
Follow Behaviour Support Plans and approved procedures.
Protect privacy, dignity and professional boundaries.
