Job summary

Cerebral Palsy Alliance in the Central Coast region of NSW is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our Umina Beach home and CPA group houses. You will support adults to lead independent lives, assist with daily activities, mobility, and community access, while upholding person‑centred care and CPA values.

The Role:

Support adults living in CPA group homes to lead rich, independent and empowered lives. This posting is specifically for our home in Umina Beach.

Your day-to-day may include:

• Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines
• Encouraging skill-building, independence, and decision-making
• Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans & in your own vehicle)
• Following person-centred plans with empathy and professionalism
• Building positive relationships with our clients

What You'll Bring:

We are looking for candidates who embody CPA values, are client-focused in their approach to care, and are passionate about the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities. You'll bring:

• A can-do attitude and growth mindset — you’re open to learning and ready to make a difference
• Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your passion & enthusiasm is key!

NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 or above)

Physical capability to support clients with mobility or transfers

Availability across a variety of shift times:

• Early mornings (6am - 9am)
• Day shifts (9am - 3/4pm)
• Afternoons & evenings
• Awake overnights (10pm-6am)

CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support
