Cerebral Palsy Alliance in Umina Beach, NSW, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help adults in our Accommodation SIL Houses live independent, meaningful lives.

You will provide personal care and support daily routines, assist with community engagement and transport, and help clients build skills with a person-centred approach. Training and development are prioritized within a supportive team.

• Client-focused with passion for supporting people with disabilities.

• NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 or above) required.
• Flexible across early mornings, day, afternoons/evenings and overnights.

The Role: Support adults living in CPA group homes to lead rich, independent and empowered lives. This posting is specifically for our home in Umina Beach.

What You'll Bring:

We are looking for candidates who embody CPA values, are client-focused in their approach to care, and are passionate about the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.

• Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your passion & enthusiasm is key!
• NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 or above)
• Physical capability to support clients with mobility or transfers
• Availability across a variety of shift times, including:
• Early mornings (6am - 9am)
• Day shifts (9am - 3/4pm)
• Afternoons & evenings
• Awake overnights (10pm-6am)

Your day‑to‑day may include:

• Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines
• Encouraging skill‑building, independence, and decision‑making
• Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans & in your own vehicle)
• Following person‑centred plans with empathy and professionalism
• Building positive relationships with our clients
