Job summary

Stride Support Services is seeking a reliable in-home support worker to assist clients across the Sunshine Coast region. You will perform personal care, including showering and dressing, and help clients with daily living tasks in their homes and community settings.

The role requires confidence with wheelchair users, safe transfers, and a warm, patient, professional approach. A strong team fit and flexibility for short-notice shifts are essential to support clients living independently.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current driver’s licence and insured vehicle
• Experience with personal care and wheelchair users
• Reliable and flexible to pick up shifts on short notice
• Warm, patient and professional with a passion for supporting people

Responsibilities

• Support clients in their homes and community across locations from Nambour down to Caloundra
• Provide personal care (showering, toileting, dressing)
• Assist with wheelchair transfers and safe handling
• Support with daily living tasks and community access
