Job summary

Brinbeal Secondary College in Melbourne’s west is seeking a Disability Inclusion Learning Specialist to lead DI strategy, coordinate IEPs and collaborate with leadership, wellbeing teams and external providers. The role supports staff professional development and drives inclusive practices across the school.

The position focuses on building capability for Tier 2/3 supports, DI funding applications, and implementing school-wide inclusion initiatives within a new state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) or eligibility to register in Victoria.
• Experience leading disability inclusion and advocating for inclusive practices.
• Ability to coordinate with school leadership, wellbeing staff and external services.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for students with disability and ensure inclusive education practices.
• Oversee Disability Inclusion Profile meetings and secure funding/support as required.
• Lead professional development and coaching on inclusion across staff.
