Rapt Supports is seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide employment supports for NDIS participants across Brisbane to Gympie. The casual role starts at 25 hours per week, with potential for permanent PT/FT, and shifts between 8:30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

The role involves direct participant contact in homes and community settings to help participants gain and sustain employment. You will work with participants to build confidence, identify strengths, explore suitable job roles, and

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people living with disability to find and maintain employment.
• Friendly personality, patience and resilience.
• Motivated and enthusiastic about making a real change through sustainable employment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Have full rights to live and work in Australia.
• Working with Children's Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Open Australian Driver's Licence with a well maintained vehicle and insurance
• Current First Aid Certificate
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Consent for Criminal History Check

Responsabilités

• Support participants to increase confidence and secure employment.
• Identify barriers and strengths to guide job matching.
• Identify suitable employment roles based on capacity.
• Source job opportunities through marketing, applications, work trials and industry visits.
• Meet participants face to face at homes and in the community.
• Provide one-on-one in-workplace support to help participants learn and maintain employment long term.
• Create thorough case notes documenting daily activities.
