Joining our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team on a permanent part-time basis in Highett, you will support people with disability to live their best lives in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living.
The people you will be supporting are highly independent, enjoy a chat, a coffee and regularly access the community – so we are looking for a high-energy, experienced disability support worker who is passionate about active support. The successful candidate will be bilingual in Cantonese and English. They must also have experience working with behaviours of concern and behaviour support plans and be able to commit to the permanent part-time roster below.
Roster: 52:00/50:30, including sleepover shifts. This roster is set and cannot be altered.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and an International Criminal History Record Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia in the last 10 years.
