Job summary

genU is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Support Worker to assist people with disabilities and those requiring mental health support as they transition from hospital to home in Bunbury.

You will support customers with daily living skills, help with meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and medication administration, and contribute to person-centred plans. Review the roster included to ensure you can work the shifts before applying.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience supporting customers with behavioural support plans.
• Experience working with challenging behaviours is essential.
• Understanding and enthusiasm for working with people with disabilities.
• Patience and maturity to manage complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Support person-centred plans identifying life goals and work to achieve them.
• Support daily living skills: meals, housekeeping, showering, toileting, and medication administration.
• Ensure adherence to positive behaviour support plans.
• Carry out administration duties and mandatory reporting.
