Job summary

The Department for Child Protection (DCP) in South Australia is offering a full-time temporary backfill as Directorate Business Manager based in the Adelaide CBD. You will lead the directorate, oversee finance, HR and administrative functions, and ensure effective delivery of services to regional communities across Ceduna, Port Augusta, Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Whyalla, Coober Pedy and APY Lands.

You will report to the Regional Director and support a dispersed workforce, driving business

Qualifications

• Core business functions experience, including client services, HR and financial management in a government context.
• Ability to use initiative and sound judgement to solve problems and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication and practical advisory skills to resolve issues.
• Ability to guide staff and implement organisational policies and values.
