Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Manager at director level for Water Infrastructure in NSW. Based in Sydney or Newcastle, you will lead complex water projects, manage client relationships, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions across the project life cycle.

You’ll work in a hybrid environment, support diverse clients, and navigate design, tendering, contract administration, and risk management to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in project management, with ability to lead complex programs.
• Experience managing clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
• Proven ability to deliver on timelines, budgets and specifications.
• Experience across multiple project lifecycles and environments.
• Experience in the water or related infrastructure sectors is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support client relationships and manage consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
• Deliver complex projects and programs meeting client expectations, timelines and specs.
• Manage change, quality, health, safety and risk elements.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects across design, tendering, contracts and scheduling.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve high-impact outcomes.
