The role leads a team of 12 specialists, shaping national vehicle standards while coordinating with federal, state and international partners.

The role requires program leadership, regulatory expertise, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Ability to interpret evidence and communicate regulatory concepts clearly and concisely.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic direction and framework for a high-performing team.
• Lead standards development and regulatory instrument creation with cost/benefit analysis.
• Represent Australia in international standards fora to align with domestic safety goals.
• Deliver executive briefings and sound advice to Ministers and senior leaders.
• Build strategic relationships across APS, state/territory agencies and industry.
• Lead a diverse, capable team and foster professional growth.
