Job description

We need to find a Director - SAP Programs/Practice with S4 and consulting experience for a permanent role with our successful boutique management consultancy client, which specialises in SAP projects and commercial transformations.

This role is based in Brisbane and you will work with a dynamic team of high-performers. This business has a trust-based and outcomes-based working environment. You can split your time working in the office and from home during the week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the pursuit and projects with no sales or pre-sales responsibility attached to the role.
• Help the customer present prepared bids and dollar value figures to support a transformation or migration to their board.
• Act as a trusted client-facing advisor and a 'safe pair of hands' for customers.
• Set up scenarios and processes, assist with governance structure, contribute to business cases, define the functional scope, provide a technical approach to migrations, and lead the sourcing strategies and activities of the system integrator (SI).

This role requires a Senior SAP experienced program director or practice leader to come into the business and play in the discovery, preparation and planning phase. C-level confidence is needed for this role.

Quality is critical to this business and they need somebody with great personal skills, strong attention to detail, strong communication and presentation skills and a trusted advisor with client-facing C-level and board members confidence to join the leadership team. This person will help customers and boards make decisions on SAP migrations, assurance and selections for Big 4 consultancies.

Skills & Experience

• Strong background and experience with SAP and familiarity with the whole process.
• Ideally been on the SAP S4 journey.
• Ideally worked in top-tier or big 4 consultancy.
• Experienced Program Director, Project Manager or Practice Director/Leader.
• Able to lead sourcing strategies and activities of an SI.
• Has set up scenarios and processes, assisted with governance structure and has contributed to business cases.
• IT and business strategy skills.
• Useful to have been involved with the assurance of proactive ongoing support for customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
