Central Gippsland Health is seeking an experienced and values-driven Director Quality & Learning to join our Executive Team and provide essential leave relief to the Quality, Safety and Learning portfolio.
As a key strategic leader, you will provide leadership and management over clinical governance, quality, safety and risk, and learning services. This division also have overarching responsibility and oversight of organisational compliance with standards and regulations. Working closely with the Executive and management team, the Director will provide the systems, assurance, insight and capability needed to deliver safe, high-quality services and continuously improve the experience and outcomes of the staff and patients we support.
This is a Full time, Fixed term opportunity commencing October 2026 through to February 2027.
The Director Quality & Learning oversees a number of Unit/Team Managers responsible for their key portfolio areas.
The role provides high level escalation across the portfolio, chairs and contributes to internal and external committees, provides regular briefs and papers to Executive, Board and Board sub-committees, and ultimately operates at a strategic level across a multi-disciplinary team to bring plans and frameworks together.
