Job summary

Kingston Human Capital is supporting the Department of Primary Industries to appoint a Director - Program Operational Continuity (SO3). This senior role leads facilities, fleet, data and digital solutions for the National Fire Ant Eradication Program and shapes the estate plan through to 2032.

The role requires strategic leadership, a track record in operational management and a current C-class driving licence, with a Criminal History Check required.

Qualifications

• Leadership in strategic management of facilities, fleet and logistics.
• Experience in strategic planning and daily operational leadership.
• Ability to deliver sustainable, fit-for-purpose operational solutions in complex environments.
• Hold a current unrestricted C class driver’s licence.
• Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of facilities, fleet and logistics services.
• Drive a high-performing workforce and respond to challenges and opportunities.
• Lead the design and delivery of the Programme's Strategic Estate Plan to 2032.
• Foster a culture of performance and service excellence aligned with public sector values.
• Build relationships with other business units to align resources across Queensland Government.
• Provide executive-level advice on complex issues and balance priorities.
• Directly manage a team of three and ~30 staff across the program.
