Job summary

Public Sector People invites applications for a Director – Program Operational Continuity to lead strategic operations across facilities, fleet, logistics and digital solutions in a large Queensland Government program.

You will oversee a depot network review and develop an estate strategy to 2032, partnering with executives to optimise resources, governance and service delivery. Experience in government sectors is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience at director or equivalent senior management level.
• Strong experience in strategic operations, infrastructure planning, facilities management and logistics.
• Proven ability to develop and implement long-term operational strategies across geographically dispersed operations.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen, governance capability and financial management experience.
• Demonstrated success delivering organisational change and operational improvements.
• Experience in government, large-scale infrastructure or utilities is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across facilities, fleet, logistics, data and digital solutions.
• Lead a comprehensive review of the depot footprint and estate across the network.
• Develop and implement a long-term estate strategy through to 2032.
• Advise executive leadership on operational continuity, infrastructure planning and resource allocation.
• Drive improvements in governance, service delivery and performance.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across government, operations teams and external providers.
• Lead organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
