GE Aerospace seeks a Director of Infrastructure & Platform to lead the team that builds, runs, and governs secure platforms and shared services. The role delivers a product-like platform with a defined backlog, roadmap, and SLAs, championing a single golden-path for all product teams and aligning with cross-functional leadership.

The role is people-leadership oriented, focusing on operating model, governance, and continuous improvement to boost safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant technical experience.
• Minimum 6 years in Infrastructure & Platform Engineering or IT.
• Minimum 3 years leading technical teams.
• Military experience equivalent to professional experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop the Infrastructure & Platform team with clear role clarity and standard work.
• Own the platform operating model and governance, including a single golden-path delivery pipeline.
• Operate the platform as a product with a backlog, roadmap, SLAs, and change management.
• Partner with Cyber Security to embed security best practices and close the DevSecOps gap.
