Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) is seeking a Director to lead statewide compliance monitoring and sanctions, guiding the frontline regulatory workforce across Victoria. You will set standards for regulatory practice and ensure decisions are consistent and proportionate.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Regulatory Operations and Sector Regulation, you will lead a large, dispersed team, oversee planning and budgets, and advise the CEO and Senior Executive Committee on

Formación

• Senior regulatory leader with experience leading large compliance or sanctions functions at executive level.
• Understanding of environmental regulation and sanctions tools.
• Tertiary qualifications in science, law, environmental management, public policy or related discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Lead EPA's statewide compliance monitoring and sanctions functions across Victoria.
• Ensure regulatory actions, decisions and sanctions are consistent and proportionate.
• Advise the CEO and Senior Executive Committee on regulatory risk, enforcement and operational performance.
• Oversee planning, budgets and workforce capability; travel to regional Victoria.
