Job summary

Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) is Victoria's environmental regulator focused on preventing and reducing pollution and waste to protect communities and ecosystems. As Director, High Risk Delivery Coordination, you will lead the response to the most significant regulatory matters, coordinating teams across EPA with a risk-based, science-informed approach.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex, large-scale regulatory operations in government or a comparable regulatory environment.
• Tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in science, law, environmental management, public policy, regulation or a related discipline are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead EPA's highest-risk duty holders, sites, sectors and regulatory matters from start to finish.
• Unite cross-functional teams across EPA in a coordinated, risk-based, science-informed response.
• Advise senior leaders on significant and emerging regulatory risks and build partnerships inside and outside EPA.
