Job summary

Engineers Australia is recruiting a Senior Manager to lead the strategic planning and delivery of its CPD portfolio, including national and international conferences, events and education programs. You will work with members, industry leaders and partners to drive innovative and commercially sustainable experiences that advance engineering excellence across Australia and beyond.

The role is fixed term until 31 January 2028, based in Melbourne or Sydney, with a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams and delivering complex projects with accountability for outcomes.
• Proven ability to run conferences, events and education programs at scale.
• Strong commercial acumen with budgets, growth opportunities and sustainable results.

Responsibilities

• Lead a national team delivering conferences, major events, industry partnerships and education programs.
• Drive strategy, growth and continuous improvement of the CPD portfolio.
• Oversee end-to-end event and program delivery with exceptional customer experiences and commercial success.
• Build relationships with members, volunteers, partners and stakeholders across EA.
