Job summary

Encore, a global event technologies company, seeks a Director of Event Technology in Australia to lead the onsite team and liaise with venue management. You will ensure safe, efficient event staging, advise clients on AV options, manage crew rosters, and optimise costs to maximise profit for Encore activities at partner venues.

You'll build strong client relationships, mentor staff, and identify opportunities to improve operations across live and hybrid events.

Qualifications

• Experience in events sales and client management.
• Knowledge of AV technologies and venue needs.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
• Proven sales leadership and team management in a venue setting.
• Ability to build meaningful business relationships with clients and venues.
• Experience rostering and cost management in live events.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient and safe running of event staging services within the venues.
• Build and maintain relationships with venues and clients for smooth events.
• Advise clients and venue staff on AV options and crew requirements within budget.
• Maintain and disseminate crew rosters and schedules.
• Inform stakeholders of issues so problems can be rectified quickly.
• Identify opportunities to increase profitable revenue at venues.
• Seek opportunities for operational improvements.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to develop team capability.
