Geelong Football Club seeks a Chief Medical Officer to lead elite sports medicine across the AFL program. You will set clinical standards, oversee injury management, rehabilitation and player health optimization.

Working within a high-performance team, you will drive evidence-based practice, innovation, research, and collaboration with coaches, performance staff and external specialists to keep players at peak readiness.

Qualificações

• Medical degree recognised by AHPRA with current registration in Australia.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Sports and Exercise Medicine, or GP with sports medicine training.
• Experience in elite sport or other high-performance environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Leading medical care within an elite AFL environment.
• Overseeing injury management, rehabilitation and player health outcomes.
• Collaborating with coaches, performance staff and external specialists.
• Supporting innovation, research and best-practice sports medicine delivery.
