Job summary

Mission Critical Recruitment seeks an electrical specialist to oversee a portfolio of data centre facilities across APAC, based in Sydney or Singapore. You will lead a team of seven and act as the linchpin between design, operations, commissioning and construction of hyperscale data centres.

You will participate in design reviews, assess existing operations holistically from an electrical perspective, perform root cause analysis, steer vendor selection, and set maintenance and operational

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Experience in complex, power-heavy environments, large-scale data centres preferred.
• Knowledge of HV/MV/LV electrical infrastructure.
• Experience in maintenance, facilities, commissioning and design.
• Willingness to travel across APAC (~20%).
• Strong leadership and remote management skills.

Location: Sydney or Singapore

Salary: Circa $250k + super + bonus

Mission Critical Recruitment are seeking an electrical technical specialist to oversee a portfolio of data centre facilities across APAC. Leading a team of 7 across the region, your team will be the lynchpin between design, operations, commissioning and construction of hyperscale data centres. Being a key part of design reviews, you'll assess existing operations holistically from an electrical perspective, running root cause analysis across any areas of concern. You'll be on top of product and vendor selection, analysing maintenance requirements, setting operational strategies and ensuring best in class design and delivery makes life as easy as possible for onsite FM and Operational teams.

Key Requirements

• Extensive experience in complex and power heavy environments with a strong preference for largescale data centre experience
• Electrical Engineering Degree
• Strong holistic understanding of electrical infrastructure across HV/MV/LV
• Any combination of maintenance, facilities, commissioning and design experience
• Strong understanding of operational processes for critical electrical infrastructure
• Willing and able to travel across APAC (around 20%)
• Leadership skills essential, including the ability to manage remotely
