Melton Christian College invites applications for the role of Director of Education. The position forms part of the Executive team, shaping the college-wide vision and long-term strategy for teaching, learning and student growth, ensuring innovation is purposeful and measurable.

The Director will design and deliver professional learning, translate research into practice, and lead across pedagogy, curriculum, and assessment with a strong focus on data-informed decision making and community

Qualifications

• Active commitment to Christian leadership and the mission, vision and values of the College.
• Strategic leadership of pedagogy, curriculum design, assessment, feedback and reporting across all sites.
• Success strengthening educational pathways and learning opportunities for further study, training and adult life.
• Effective coaching and role modelling to enhance staff capability and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Strategic use of data to inform pedagogy, curriculum design and learning engagement.
• Proven executive experience managing educational operations, resources, compliance and risk.
• Highly developed relational and communication skills to engage staff, students, families and the community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a coherent future-of-learning approach across pedagogy, curriculum, assessment and academic performance.
• Design and deliver a professional learning program to build leadership capability.
• Translate research and emerging educational trends into practical and sustainable improvement.
• Report to the Principal and align with MCC’s Christian mission and direction.
