Job summary

Georges River Council is seeking a dynamic Head of Operations for Early Learning Services to lead day-to-day operations across five Centres. This senior role will drive education quality, compliance and service delivery while shaping strategic priorities in partnership with the Manager Early Learning and Child Safety.

You will mentor Centre Coordinators, champion continuous improvement, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Current Working With Children Check.
• Certifications in Child Protection, First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis.
• Current Class C NSW Driver's Licence.
• Understanding of Education and Care National Regulations 2011.
• Knowledge of EYLF and National Quality Framework.
• Demonstrated experience in Early Childhood settings.
• Proven ability to lead a team and supervise staff.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Ability to plan, organise and implement programs.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Understanding of child safe standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of five Early Learning Centres.
• Provide strategic and operational oversight of services.
• Support and mentor Centre Coordinators.
• Champion continuous improvement and quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with NQF, National Regulations.
• Engage with families and community stakeholders.
